Hundreds of worried parents rushed to the school in trishaws, taxis and cars.

Most of them carried bundles of clothing and food for their children.

Very few succeeded in coaxing their children to return home.

"The British never stopped their purge until they got elected men to do it for them.

"The Labour Front Coalition Government will find that they can never stop until they are ousted from office.

"The difference between the British and these ministers is that the British colonial officials do not have to be elected by the people.
