Like the non-Communist
politicians, the British also
didn't want the left to gain
control of Singapore and the rest of Malaya. So they
sent one of their most
experienced generals
to fight the Commies.
Know who he is?

The commies fought to
control SIngapore, but
between the Brits and local
leaders such as Lim Yew
Hock and Lee Kuan Yew,
they just didn't stand a
chance, did they?
