Gun operations room This room is a hive of activity as the soldiers work hard to monitor the movement of aircraft in the skies. Reconstructing this room was tough, said the curator, Ms Tan Teng Teng. Said Ms Tan: "During the trial exhibition in 1992, we found out that one of the visitors used to work in gun operations. We called him and he helped us to recreate the room." He worked with a map-maker to produce the map on the table. But he could not remember everything. So Ms Tan got pictures of other bunkers and other plotting operations of the same period and slowly pieced together the room visitors now see.
